Call for Applications: Sign Up for the Connections Program by Representing Games, Sponsored by Games/Bavaria
Are you looking for funding, an investor, a publisher, a marketing partner, or a different business partner? We are launching a program together with Representing Games that connects you with relevant stakeholders to accelerate your business in 2022 and beyond. Hand in your application until October 14 for a chance to receive valuable feedback on your pitch deck and to grab a spot in the program, starting at the end of October.
What is Representing Games?
Representing Games is the agency label from our partners at MeetToMatch that helps studios accelerate their business. They will help you find a new business partner and/or connect you with publishers, investors, and other stakeholders from the games industry that are relevant for your game. All participating game developers will receive feedback on their pitch material, an intro to Representing Games, one-on-one sessions, and matchmaking with a minimum of five quality connections on average to key people in the international games industry – like investors or publishers. A connection means Representing Games will set up an introduction with a stakeholder that is interested to learn more directly from you, to set up a meeting with.
Representing Games has a track record in such acceleration programs with several governments, and also represent multiple international game studios.
Fill in the application form until October 14 to secure your spot. You will need your pitch deck (a concept version is perfectly fine as you will be working on that during the program!) and provide some information about you and your game.
Who can participate?
Everyone working on a game with their office (or address for solo devs) located in Bavaria is eligible to participate – with the exception of full-time students. If you are not sure whether you can take part, send us an email at [email protected]. You can participate for free.
You should have a vertical slice, a demo or a prototype of your game – and a (concept) pitch deck. PC and console games are most convenient to work with in today’s market. We accept mobile and XR games as well but will be more selective with those. Especially if your business model is F2P, your pitch deck should provide additional information about your monetization strategy.
Do you have any questions? Send an email to [email protected] and our team will answer all of them. Do you know everything you need to know? Then seize the opportunity:
What is expected of me?
You will only achieve your goal of meeting on average at least five interested stakeholders from the games industry if you follow the steps of the Representing Games program. This means that you participate in the meetings, work on your materials as instructed, respond to emails in a timely manner, and fill in surveys to make sure the program fits your needs. Please note that the program will run in English.
You don’t need to have a perfect pitch deck or online presence yet – but you need to be willing to work on all that. Are you ready for this challenge? Apply now and accelerate your business:
