Recap Gamescom 2019
Once again, Gamescom set a visitor record: 373,000 people flocked to the Cologne Exhibition Center from August 20 to 24 to meet the numerous companies, attend different events and play awesome games in both the consumer and business sectors of the world’s largest B2C / B2B trade fair for games to visit.
In the business sector, the German regional initiatives once again presented themselves in the “Made in Germany” area. Like last year Games/Bavaria was represented with a joint booth. In this prime location in Hall 4.1, eight Bavarian companies participated in the joint booth. The companies enjoyed the benefits of the Bavarian booth in the form of their own cabins, tables and regular seats in the beer garden. The booth was supported by the Bavarian State Ministry of Digital Affairs.
Breakfast Reception
In the old tradition, one of the highlights was the breakfast reception. Numerous guests came together under the maypole to Brezn, Obazda, sausages and of course good conversation. Dr. Hans Michael Strepp (Bavarian State Ministry for Digital), Dorothee Erpenstein (FFF Bayern), Hendrik Lesser (Games Bavaria Munich e.V.) and Robin Hartmann (WERK1, Games / Bavaria) welcomed the guests.
