Discounted computer games made in Germany: Games Germany Steam Sale 2023

The “Made in Germany” Steam Sale by Games Germany proceeds into the second round!

Last year in February, Games Germany held the Steam Sale for the first time. Due to the great success and the overwhelming response from the community, the discount campaign is now going into the second round. To be more precise: From today (June 22, 7 p.m.) until June 29, you have the chance to get about 215 German-made computer games at a discounted price.

This year you can expect newcomers as well as well-known game studios among the participants, for example also winners of the Deutscher Computerspielpreis (German Computer Game Award) or the Deutscher Entwicklerpreis (German Developer Award). Participating are, among others, Dorfromantik by Toukana Interactive, Everspace 2 by ROCKFISH Games, Anno 1800 by Ubisoft Mainz, Hunt: Showdown by Crytek, and Signalis by rose-engine.

The sale event was initiated and organized by Games Germany, the association of German games funding and network institutions.

The goal of Games Germany at this event is to make the great variety of games created in Germany internationally visible on the online distribution platform Steam and to inspire new players from all over the world.

According to its own information, Steam has over 47 million active users every day, making it the leading platform for computer gamers around the world to discover, buy and play games. So-called Steam Sale Events regularly put computer games in the spotlight on the platform’s homepage, making them visible to an audience of millions of users worldwide. Participation in the second Games Germany Steam Sale event with a focus on games from Germany offers developers the opportunity to achieve direct sales, expand the international reach of their games and increase their level of awareness.
